SHARKTANA — A Story, A Legacy, An Adventure

From the mountains of Montana comes a story unlike anything you’ve seen before.

SHARKTANA began with an outrageous question: What if prehistoric sharks, frozen beneath the mountains for thousands of years, suddenly came back to life?

Set against the breathtaking and unforgiving wilderness of Montana, SHARKTANA brings together science fiction, suspense, adventure, humor, romance, and the unexpected—creating a world where the impossible becomes terrifyingly real.

But behind the sharks, the snow, and the adventure is something much more important.

In Loving Memory of Robert M. Shippy

SHARKTANA is forever connected to the imagination and creative spirit of its writer, Robert M. Shippy, who passed away on August 19, 2026.

Robert helped give this story its voice.

His creativity, imagination, humor, and passion helped transform an idea about prehistoric frozen sharks in Montana into the story and world of SHARKTANA. What began as an unconventional concept became an adventure filled with characters, danger, laughter, heart, and unforgettable moments.

Robert's passing is a tremendous loss to everyone who knew him and to those who had the privilege of creating alongside him. While he will not be here to see everything still to come, his fingerprints will forever remain on this project.

Every scene brought to life, every audience that discovers SHARKTANA, and every laugh, scream, and “O-Snap!” that follows is another reminder that a storyteller's work can live far beyond the storyteller himself.

SHARKTANA moves forward in Robert's memory and with enormous gratitude for what he helped create.

His story continues with us.

The New SHARKTANA Trailer Has Arrived

Today, we are proud to share another major step in that journey with the release of the new official SHARKTANA trailer.

The new trailer offers audiences their latest look into the frozen world of SHARKTANA—where the mountains are beautiful, the snow is deep, and something prehistoric is waiting beneath the surface.

This is more than the release of a trailer.

It's a celebration of how far this unlikely Montana adventure has come, a glimpse at where it's headed next, and most importantly, an opportunity to honor one of the people who helped make the story possible.

This one's for you, Robert.

Your imagination lives on.
